Job Description: 

Location:

Responsibilities:

– Triages patients, escorts patients to exam rooms, and interviews patients

– Prepares treatment rooms for patient examinations

– Assists providers in exam rooms

– Draws blood, removes sutures, changes dressings

– Records patient medical history, vital statistics, and test results in patient medical record

– Registers patients, verify insurance, and answer phones

– Conducts patient testing such as COVID, flu, strep

– Performs additional duties as necessary

Qualifications:

– High School Diploma or equivalent and

– Completed an approved Medical Assistant Training Program

– Certification is not required but preferred
