James served nearly ten years as a U.S. Army combat medic and then eight years as an Army Physician Assistant with multiple combat assignments. He has also worked in urgent care, providing quality care to patients across Central Texas.

James earned his Master of Physician Assistant Studies (MPAS) from the University of Nebraska Medical College in 2007, equipping him with advanced clinical skills for urgent care practice.
